let's meditate, advanced technique
this is not replacing
professional teaching and guidance. we always recommend
professional teaching and guidance. if you already have
been taught a certain type of meditation, please follow
your system, these set of instructions are for beginners
and people that have never been guided before.
Again, we recommend the
guidance of a professional teacher, rather that dealing
with a machine. This second technique is to be followed
only if you have already meditated with the beginners
technique for a week, twice a day, or equivalent times.
Please do thank you.
Now Let's Mediate:
We would like to magnify
the importance of an effortless, easy, non judgemental
attitude required for meditating, this is exactly the
nature of Meditation.
Relax, like if you were
going to meditate with the First Technique, do it so
for about 30 seconds. Instead of Focusing on your breathing,
this time you are going to use a Mantra or Primordial
Sound.
Mantras are sounds of
Nature, first recorded in the Vedas books, around 4000
years ago. The one we would recommend is So Ham (pronounce
exactly as read), which is the sound of the breathing,
it is just a sound, it has no meaning attached to it.
The breath is not important any more, the repetition
of the mantra must be effortless, natural, said to you
quietly in your mind as it comes, no forcing, you say
it at the pace you select and it can vary during the
meditation, it is not related to your breathing pattern,
it doesn't need to be said completely all the times
or always, it is just a sound, it sounds to you like
you want it to sound. Detach from the experience or
this sound, it is just going to be the tool your mind
will utilize
to keep you awake and aware of the deep relaxation that
can occur and at the same time is the tool it will use
to transcend the thought generation. At the end stop
the mantra and take 2-3 minutes before opening your
eyes Meditate like this for 30 minutes twice a day,
every day.
Option for the Mantra:
If you don't wish to use a Mantra, select a word in
your language of preference that represents complete
Divinity, pure Love, Peace and all the good to you.
When using it like the Mantra, detach from the literal
meaning of this word, use it like a sound only. The
best thing to do is to receive a Mantra from a Spiritual
Meditation Teacher.
