Is Reiki a Religion?

Does the energy comes from the Practitioner?
NO, the practitioner is a channel and Reiki goes through his/her body only. The person receiving Reiki is the one that pulls in the energy according to his/her needs, that is why it can be blocked easily. The practitioner is bathed with Reiki as he channels the energy onto the body of the receptor.

How is it applied?
The practitioner goes over the body of the person with different hands positions, contact with the body is not required. Reiki comes out of the hands of the practitioner.

Is Reiki only for Humans?
Reiki works great with plants and animals as well as humans. It is great for children and elders, it strengthens them.

Can Reiki be sent distant?
Yes, this is one of the most difficult parts to believe, but as energy it can be sent to any distance in the planet, just like no touch is required between the practitioner's hands and the receiver's body.
