- Sleep on your left
side. The Left Side of your brain is the more suitable
for activities such as bathing, reading, writing,
defecating, debating, eating, sleeping, removing
anxiety, nervousness, yoga. When you sleep on your
left side, your right nostril opens and the left
side of your brain works. Yogis say that energy
comes into the body through the left side and leaves
the body through the right side, being this the
case, sleeping on the left side reduces the amount
of energy that comes in the body, decreasing the
amount of dreams and activity inducing the body
into a restful sleep.
- Eat at least 4 hours
before going to bed. Considering that food takes
up to 7 hours to be digested (meats in particular),
if you go to bed with your digestive system active,
your body will be active as well and your sleep
will be shallower, you will dream more and rest
less.
- Meditate around
2 hours before going to bed, this will calm your
mind, decrease the amount of thoughts provoking
a deep restful night.
- Massage the sole
